The melting points of different components of hot melt adhesive film omentum are different. Among them, PA hot melt adhesive omentum is divided into high temperature type and low temperature type. The high temperature melting point is 125℃-135℃, and the low temperature melting point is 95-110℃; PES hot melt adhesive omentum melting point At 110-125℃; the melting point of EVA omentum is low, only 65-85℃; the melting point of TPU omentum is 110-120℃.

The melting point only represents the temperature when the material just melts. In actual use, the product must be 20-30°C higher than the melting point. Washing and dry cleaning is also one of the key attributes of hot melt adhesive omentum. The order of washing resistance from good to bad is: PES omentum, TPU omentum, PA omentum and EVA omentum, and the order of dry cleaning resistance is : PA omentum, PES and TPU omentum, EVA omentum. It should be noted that while considering washing resistance, suitable bonding materials and uses should also be considered.

For example, in clothing applications, PA mesh instead of PES is mostly used. This is because the PA material is more viscous to the fabric. Hot-melt adhesive webs with other ingredients are not as washable as PES, but they are sufficient for regular clothing. Some customers also have elastic requirements for hot-melt adhesive membranes. At this time, it is recommended to use EVA and TPU hot-melt adhesive membranes. Since EVA and TPU raw materials are elastomeric plastics, they can be better protected during use.

The original elastic properties of the bonding material. PA and PES are not elastic. In terms of flexibility, hot melt adhesive membranes of different materials are also fundamentally different. For example, EVA and TPU feel softer, while PES and PA feel firmer. This is mainly due to the characteristics of the raw materials, which will not be described here. At the same time, in addition to choosing the right material, we must also pay attention to the choice of product weight. Generally, the higher the weight, the thicker the feel, the lower the weight, the softer the feel.
